Original Works

I've been a rapper/writer since I was 11, and I've spent most of my life writing music, spoken word, and short plays.

My original numbers have been produced as part of productions at the American Shakespeare Center, Houston Shakespeare Festival, and the University of Michigan - Flint.

I'm currently working on hip-hopera adaptations of HamletRichard III, and a one man show set to premiere in late 2026 entitled In Rapping Shakespeare.

In Rapping Shakespeare

A theatrical piece by Caleb Clark featured as part of Theatrical Outfit's Launchpad 2.0 Residency. It is a whirlwind performance that blends hip-hop and Shakespeare, asking audiences to grapple with their own self-image through both classic text and rap.

The Play's The Thing

The Ode of Oedipus

An original number written by Caleb that opened the American Shakespeare Center's 2018 production of Antigone (contains lyrics from "Tribes At War" by NaS and Damian Marley feat. K'naan).

We Run Verona

An original number (a rap battle between the Capulets and Montagues) written by Caleb & KP Powell that opened the American Shakespeare Center's 2016 production of Romeo & Juliet.
